1. Information We Collect
When you use Jamlog, we collect:
- Account information: Your Apple ID email (via Sign In with Apple), username, and profile settings.
- Content you create: Audio recordings, photos, text notes, transcriptions, and metadata (timestamps, location if enabled, duration).
- Usage data: App interactions, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the service.
- Device information: Device type, iOS version, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.
- Social connections: Who you follow and who follows you, comments, and interaction data.
- Payment information: Subscription status synced from Apple (we do not store credit card details).
- Facebook account data: If you connect Facebook, we receive your public profile, email, and Page access tokens for sharing and live streaming features.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the Jamlog service (recording, syncing, hosting your profile).
- Display your content on your public profile at username.jamlog.com.
- Process AI features (transcription, image generation, text processing) through our server-side AI providers.
- Enable social features (following, comments, notifications).
- Enable sharing to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Send push notifications you've opted into.
- Improve the app and fix bugs.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your recordings and media are stored on encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2/S3). Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Your data syncs between your devices via iCloud (device-to-device only) and to our servers via encrypted API calls.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Apple: Sign In with Apple, iCloud sync, StoreKit subscriptions.
- OpenAI: AI image generation and text processing (your content may be sent to OpenAI for processing).
- Cloudflare: Media storage and CDN delivery.
- Stripe: Creator subscription payments.
- Meta (Facebook): Login, sharing, live streaming, and ad campaign features.
- Brevo: Transactional email notifications.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your content is shared only as you direct (e.g., public profile, social media sharing). We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics internally.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You can:
- Delete individual posts from the app at any time.
- Make your profile private or take your site offline.
- Request complete account deletion by emailing locomojo@gmail.com.
- Disconnect your Facebook account from Jamlog settings. See our Data Deletion page for details.
7. Children's Privacy
Jamlog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
