1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Jamlog ("the App") or accessing app.jamlog.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Jamlog is a recording app for musicians. You record audio — voice memos, riffs, demos — keep it private, and, when you choose, publish a recording to your personal web page where fans can subscribe. The Service includes the iOS app, the web platform at app.jamlog.com, and creator pages hosted at username.jamlog.com.
3. Your Content
- You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to Jamlog.
- By publishing content, you grant Jamlog a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service (for example, on your public page or to your subscribers).
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share your content.
- Do not upload illegal content, copyrighted material you don't own, or content that violates others' rights.
4. Accounts
- You can sign in with Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or a magic email link. Your email is your account identifier across web and the app.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- One person per account. Account sharing is not permitted.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
5. Creator Subscriptions & Payments
- Creators can offer paid subscriptions so fans can support them and access subscriber-only recordings.
- Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Where in-app purchasing is offered, subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store.
- Billing, renewals, and cancellations for App Store purchases are managed by Apple; web subscriptions are managed through Stripe.
- Creators receive payouts of their subscription revenue, less the applicable platform and processing fees, via Stripe.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not harass, bully, or threaten other users.
- Do not upload malware, spam, or automated content.
- Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Do not circumvent any technical limitations of the Service.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time directly in the app (Settings → Advanced → Delete Account), or by contacting us at locomojo@gmail.com.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that your content will be preserved indefinitely. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jamlog's total liability for any claims arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
